Elsa
After making a couple of iterations of my Katniss Cowl, I wanted to switch it up a bit. This garment was literally the only thing I knew how to make, so I decided to do some themed variations inspired by other characters.
This Elsa one is one of two things that I sold on my Etsy shop before I realized I'm incapable of maintaining an Etsy shop.
Snow White
The Snow White one was my first attempt at colorwork with the red shapes.
I gifted this one to my beautiful mama because she's like a real-life Snow White. She's a wildlife rehabilitator, so she's friends with all of the deer, birds, and other woodland creatures. So it seemed fitting that she should have this one.
Ariel
For the Ariel one, I got much more ambitious with colorwork and some... other... I don't know, this one's got a lot going on. I didn't know what blocking was so the edges got a little wonky. But it was fun to make! This one's still kicking around my house somewhere if anyone wants it.
These were a lot of fun to make. I love themed things, and it was fun to learn by experimenting with different techniques. I might continue making more of these someday, I did have some more ideas that I never got around to. I started a Jasmine one a while back but then got distracted by another project and never finished it. Maybe someday...
